Assignments:
1) Completion of your family story: post 6 images to your blog that show the themes of the family story. These may illustrate the plot of the story, but most importantly they should communicate the theme(s) and why it is important in your family culture. Remember, show, don't tell.
2) read Creative Filmmaking, pages 29-44. Be prepared to discuss ideas presented here in class on Monday.

1) create a blog that you will use to share your work in this class. Blogger, Tumblr, Pinterest are all good. You do not need to pay for a blog, use a host site that is FREE! Once it is created, please email me the web address and/or invitation to follow your blog.
2) out line a family story. Bring in a simple outline of a story that is told in your family. (what happens, to whom, where and why?) It should be something that happened before you were born, that you are not involved in. Also write a paragraph describing why this is important in your family culture.
